Hillel of Greater Philadelphia deeply values the contributions that our donors make to sustain and support our mission. To protect the privacy of our donors and their special relationship with HGP, we maintain the following policies: - We do not publish, sell, trade, rent or share donor lists with other organizations.
- We offer donors the option to be recognized anonymously.
- Donors may request that they not be solicited in the future.
- Donors may request to be removed from our mailing list.
Hillel of Greater Philadelphia will use donor contact information for these purposes only: - Distribution of receipts for donations
- Thanking donors for their donation
- Informing donors about upcoming fundraising and other activities of the agency
- Internal analysis and record keeping
- Reporting to relevant Federal and State agencies (these reports are not available for public inspection)
- Contacting donors about changes to this policy
Hillel of Greater Philadelphia does print an Annual Report listing the names only of donors by giving level. Donors should contact us to make their contribution anonymously and not be listed by name in this report. A donor also has the option of removing their name from this list by explicitly choosing the "anonymous" field when donating online or in response to mailings. In all cases other than the Annual Report, staff and volunteers assume donations are not to be publicly announced unless the donor has explicitly indicated otherwise.
